Svdestada – Candela Review
With a woman in a robe on the cover stretching air and red light, it’d be easy to dismiss Candela as just another longing metalcore album. Pupil Slicer – Blossom Review
Pupil Slicer’s debut, Mirrors, was a jagged burst of Grinding Mathcore (complemented with tastefully picked Electronica influences) that caught my ear for its neurotic character. Come 23, my expectations for a follow-up are unfortunately high for more of the same ilk. Blossom is not Mirrors, that much is clear. Will this release be able to blossom into its own thing?

KEN mode – NULL Review
As a big fan of the direction they took with the closer “No Gentle Art” on Loved (which is also my favourite track on that album), it’s a real treat to see KEN mode continuing writing slow building and slightly lower tempo songs.
